Live began in Toronto in 2002 as a small organic juice bar with a simple idea: make wholesome food with great ingredients that tastes really good.

From that little juice bar, we grew into a restaurant and eventually into our own production facility, allowing us to bring the food we love making to more people.

More than 20 years later, we're still a small, family-run business led by a brother-and-sister team — and we're still very much involved in what we make every day.

Today, Live makes a growing collection of fresh, organic food for the health-conscious and the health-curious, available at retailers across Canada.

Good food starts with good ingredients.

We believe eating well should be simple, delicious and something everyone can enjoy.

Organic ingredients are at the heart of what we do. We use certified organic ingredients throughout our products, with conventional ingredients used only in limited cases when a specialty ingredient isn't available organically. We also source locally whenever we can.

Our food is made with plenty of vegetables and simple, recognizable ingredients — fresh produce, legumes, whole grains, nuts, seeds, herbs, spices and house-made ferments.

We make our dressings, sauces, pickles and marinades from scratch, using ingredients like olive oil, sea salt, fresh herbs, ginger, garlic, citrus, vinegars and our own spice blends.

No unnecessary ingredients. No seed oils. Just really good food made with care.

Still family-run. Still hands-on.

Our NSF-certified Toronto production facility allows us to make food on a larger scale while maintaining the quality and care that have been part of Live from the beginning.

We're still developing the recipes. We're still in the kitchen. We're still tasting, tweaking and finding better ways to make really good food.

And we're supported by an incredible team that helps us make it happen every day.
